SIKESTON, Mo. -- The second suspect in a Sikeston shooting that occurred Friday has been arrested, police said.

Julian Johnson, 20, of Sikeston was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action, attempted robbery and unlawful use of a weapon. Johnson is at the Scott County Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.

The victim told police he was shot in the 800 block of Ruth Street after being knocked to the ground by two men trying to rob him. Detectives arrested 17-year-old Rikko Montez Cox that night. He remains at the county jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
