HILLSBORO, Mo. -- The search for a missing pregnant woman in Jefferson County took a new turn Wednesday as officers investigating her disappearance searched two farm properties in rural Hillsboro.

The farms are owned by Bryan Westfall and his parents. Amanda Jones' relatives say Westfall is the father of her unborn child, who was expected to be born sometime this week. Jones disappeared Aug. 14 after meeting Westfall at the Hillsboro Civic Center.

A $100,000 reward has been offered for information on Jones' disappearance or identity of anyone who may have harmed her.

Sheriff Glenn Boyer said he suspects foul play in Jones' disappearance and considers Westfall a "person of interest." Several items were taken from the farms for analysis.

"He was the last to speak to her,." Boyer said. "We haven't been able to document anyone else who saw her since then."

Westfall's attorney, Kevin Roberts, said Westfall and his family consented to the search and cooperated fully. He said nothing of significance was found, but that testing of the seized items will substantiate his client's innocence.

"Mr. Westfall and his family continue to pray for her safe return," Roberts said.
