__What makes you the best candidate for this office?:__

I believe my career in running & managing businesses and dealing with the financial details of those; along with my ability to interact and communicate with the vendors and the public in general makes me the best candidate for this office.

__How would you describe the role of the treasurer?:__

To oversee all aspects of the county's financial management. To make sure appropriate financial systems and controls are in place. Maintain accurate record keeping. Report to commission and dispurse funds as required.

__How will you judge or evaluate how effective you are being as the county's treasurer?:__

I'm sure there are review procedures in place to evaluate job performance. But, I will be able to evaluate my performance by having regular discussions with and seeking feedback from the people I'm dealing with.

I would certainly appreciate everyone's consideration on August 5th. And, if I'm fortunate enough to be elected I can assure you there will be an open door policy in the office; and that every citizen, vendor and fellow office holders will be treated with dignity and the respect that they deserve.
