Sheriff Bill Ferrell will provide the meal for the inmates at noon Thursday. The meal includes turkey and dressing, gravy, potatoes, corn, green beans, pie and beverages.

Ferrell has been providing the meal at his own expense since he took office in 1977.

He said the meal helps to soften the inmate's pain of being separated from family members during a festive time of the year.
