Scott County man pleads guilty to drug charges
A Scott County man pleaded guilty to federal drug charges Wednesday. Christopher L. Klughart, 30, faces up to 20 years' imprisonment, a $250,000 fine or both for his guilty pleas to one count of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Klughart has three prior felony convictions for offenses including theft, insurance fraud and arson.
Sentencing is set for 11 a.m. Dec. 16 in Cape Girardeau.
