Several candidates have filed for seats on city governing boards in Scott County towns. In Scott City, incumbents Mike Ellison filed for the Ward 1 seat, Joe Hudson filed in Ward 2, Robert Tyler in Ward 3 and Jordan Heisserer in Ward 4. Challenger Ron Cummins filed in Ward 3 and Randy Morse in Ward 4. In Oran, incumbent Brenda Cook filed to represent Ward 3. Also seeking re-election is Justin Bradly in Ward 1. Tim Daniels and former alderman Bill Senciboy have filed to challenge Bradly for the Ward 1 seat. In Chaffee, acting Mayor Steve Loucks, who has served as mayor since Mayor Loretta Mohorc died in October, will be running unopposed to replace her. Current council members seeking re-election are: Darlene Crocker, Ward 1; Jerry A. Childers, Ward 2; Ryan Pennington, Ward 3; and Dennis Glastetter, Ward 4. Also seeking a council position is Darren McFerron, who has filed to represent Ward 4.
