SCOTT CITY'S PARK DISPLAY OPENS SOON

SCOTT CITY - The Scott City Fire Department and Parks and Recreation Department will hold a Christmas celebration in the community park on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.

Activities will include the official lighting of the fire department's Tree of Lights, visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and Christmas caroling.

Churches and businesses have come together to create a winter wonderland in the park by creating Christmas scenes. The scenes will be on display from Dec. 4 through Jan. 3, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The community is invited to attend this lighting ceremony and kick off to the park display.
