The Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Seminar was founded 35 years ago, when O'Brien was inspired by a visit with Dr. Albert Schweitzer at his famous clinic in Lamborene, Galon.

During the three-day seminar, 180 outstanding high school sophomores from Eastern Missouri will have the opportunity to meet with some of St. Louis' top corporate, political, sports and media leaders. The focus of the seminar is leadership development.
