SCOTT CITY TO HOLD HALLOWEEN PARADE

SCOTT CITY -- The parks and recreation department here will sponsor its seventh annual Halloween Parade Oct. 22, at 10 a.m.

Lineup for the parade will begin at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Assembly of God Church, 312 Dearborn.

The parade will head down Dearborn to Main, then turn left and proceed to East Second Street. The parade will end in the 600 block of East Second, where children's costumes will be judged.

All children are welcome to participate, said Phyllis Spinks, parks and recreation director. Adults or groups who want to enter a float should contact her at 264-3411.
