On Dec. 6, more than 900 students from across Missouri met at Hickman High School in Columbia to audition for the honor of participating in the top honor band in the state. One hundred and four students were accepted.

The band will meet, rehearse and perform at the Missouri Music Educators Conference held Jan. 28 to 31 at Tan-Tar-A Resort, Lake of the Ozarks.
The band will perform at 3 p.m. Jan. 31 in Salon A at Tan-Tar-A.
