SCOTT CITY STUDENT NAMED EXCHANGE YOUTH OF MONTH

SCOTT CITY -- Michelle Keesee, a senior at Scott City High School, has been named October Youth of the Month by the Exchange Club of Cape Girardeau.

Keesee is a member of the National Honor Society, Science Club, Future Homemakers of America, Pep Club, yearbook staff, band, Future Business Leaders of America, Pom Pon squad, Future Teachers of America and Girl Scouts.

She is on the A honor roll, received the English award the past three years and the World and American History awards the past two years, and is a member of Scholar Bowl.

Keesee has also been active in volunteer service with the Dogwood Day Camp, St. Francis Junior Volunteer program, and the Salvation Army Thanksgiving dinner.

She is the daughter of William and Shirley Keesee of Scott City.
