"I am very honored to live in a community that can set aside its own needs and donate to help out its neighbors," Scott City Student Council President Brant Gunther said.

The gifts were delivered to city hall on Friday morning. They will be distributed to needy children early next week.

The Toybox project is a joint effort between the Scott City Student Council and the Scott City Women's Club. The women's club purchases clothes for the children while the student council buys Christmas toys.
