SCOTT CITY -- Several appointments have been made at the Scott City Police Department, the result of a restructuring of the department, according to Mayor Shirley Young.

The appointments were made during a closed meeting of the City Council Monday. The restructuring means no new positions in the department, Young said.

Appointed to the position of road sergeant was Rob Elledge, a former corporal with the department. James Odom was appointed administrative sergeant, Young said. Odom formerly worked for the department but resigned in April, 1990.
