Scott City police arrest robbery suspects

Scott City police arrested two suspects in a weekend robbery, according to a news release from the Scott City Police Department. Randall J. Hanstein Jr., 27, and Donald W. Harris Jr., 17, were arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and burglary, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. The robbery was reported around 10 p.m. Sunday. The caller said two male subjects had come to a residence in the 500 block of Elmwood Street, brandished a gun, and demanded money from the residents. Bond was set at $50,000 cash only for both suspects.
