SCOTT CITY -- Leigh Waddle of Scott City is serving as a student ambassador at Murray State University in Murray, Ky. Giving campus tours to prospective students and serving as hosts and hostesses at university events are two main functions of student ambassadors.

Waddle is one of 28 ambassadors this year, who work with the school relations and alumni affairs offices to assist with university-related functions such as homecoming, parents weekend and alumni weekend. The ambassadors also help recruit high school students in the five-state area through recruiting visits and fall senior days.
