Scott County Prosecuting Attorney Paul Boyd last week filed five felony and five misdemeanor charges against 56-year-old David Dubs. He is accused of molesting a girl 13 years ago. The investigation revealed the incidents allegedly started when the girl was 11 years old and continued until she was 15.

The molestation happened at a home just outside Scott City. The girl's mother questioned Dubs in 2001, and he denied the allegations. But a year later, he allegedly admitted the acts occurred. Dubs posted bond. He pleaded not guilty Wednesday before Judge Scott Horman and will have a preliminary hearing Jan. 20 in Benton, Mo.
