An example of how dry the conditions are was evidenced in a Sunday evening motorcycle accident on Route PP east of Kelso in Scott County.

"The hot motorcycle fell over in the grass and started a fire," Crump said. The injured driver was helped away from the fire by witnesses at the scene.
