SCOTT CITY HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR STUDENT OF MONTH

SCOTT CITY -- Emily Wipfler, a senior at Scott City High School, has been chosen student of the month for February by the Breakfast Exchange Club of Cape Girardeau.

Wipfler is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Foreign Language Club and the speech team. She has been chosen as the school's nominee for the Tandy Corp.'s "Outstanding Math and Science Award," received the Danforth "I Dare You" award, and has served both as a teacher's aide and counseling center aide.

Wipfler, a recipient of a Regents Scholarship to Southeast Missouri State University, plans to major in pre-veterinary science. She is the daughter of Charles and Susie Wipfler of Scott City.
