Scott City fish fry to feature violin group

The Scott City First Assembly of God will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at 312 Dearborn St. in Scott City. The menu is fried fish, cole slaw, baked beans, potatoes, hush puppies, tea and coffee. Children 5 and younger eat free. A dine-in and carryout plate lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call ahead for multiple carryouts. The Southeast Missouri State University Suzuki Violin Group will be performing for gratuities to help defray the cost of students' travel to the upcoming Singapore International Strings Festival.
