SCOTT CITY CHAMBER TO PICK TOP BUSINESS

SCOTT CITY -- The Scott City Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday will announce its Business of the Year during its 4th Annual Business Appreciation Breakfast.

Chamber president Shirley Young said the board of directors will prepare the free breakfast. The menu includes sausage, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, juice and coffee. Serving will start at 7 a.m. and the meeting will conclude by 8.

In addition to the top honor, Young said certificates will be distributed to several area businesses for their help in the past year. She said members of the Scott City Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America also will discuss the recent Buy Local Week.
