Scott City chamber plans public event
In an effort to encourage members to join the Scott City Chamber of Commerce and inform people about what the chamber does for the city, the chamber is hosting a meet-and-greet for interested participants. In an effort to encourage members to join the Scott City Chamber of Commerce and inform people about what the chamber does for the city, the chamber is hosting a meet-and-greet for interested participants.
From 4:30 to 6 p.m. on July 30, everyone is invited to The Bank of Missouri, 315 Crites Ave., for a social hour.
Scott City school's new superintendent Brian Lee and elementary school principal April Garner will both be in attendance. Light refreshments will be served at 5 p.m.

The chamber welcomes everyone to stop by and welcome the new school officials to the Scott City community.
