Bringing to life the characters of one of television's longest-running animated series, "Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries" will come to the Show Me Center on May 2. Tickets will be on sale starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The production features Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang -- Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, Velma and Scooby-Doo -- as they help crack the case of a troublemaking ghost haunting a theater. The action includes crazy ghosts, puzzles, Scooby Snacks and the Mystery Machine, traveling to solve mysteries wherever they're found. There are some new characters, too.

The family-friendly musical is presented by Warner Bros. Consumer Produces and Life Like Touring. It includes musical numbers including the Scooby-Doo theme song, "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" as well as the original numbers, "Round Every Corner" and "We're Mystery Inc."

In a news release, Brad Globe, president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, said: "The timeless antics of Scooby-Doo and his mystery solving Gang have been delighting kids for generations. We are thrilled to be bringing the Scooby Gang home to North America in this exciting new musical for the whole family. Scooby fans of all ages will truly enjoy this immersive and entertaining experience."
