State Representative David Schwab of the 157th district will speak to the Southeast Missouri Area Pachyderm Club Friday.
The meeting will begin at noon at the Port Cape Girardeau Restaurant in downtown Cape Girardeau.
Schwab will review legislation from the past session. In addition he will discuss the issues affecting his district.
He was first elected to the House in 1988. He serves on numerous committees, including agriculture and transportation.
The Southeast Missouri Area Pachyderm Club is an official auxiliary of the Republican National Committee. The club emphasizes programs centered on government and politics.
The local bi-weekly meetings are open to the public.
