Missouri state Representative David Schwab has received a 100 percent pro-business voting record for 1999 and 2000, as compiled by the Associated Industries of Missouri (AIM) and Missouri Business United.

The rating is based on votes on job creation and economic growth. Each year the two organizations analyze votes on important issues in the Missouri General Assembly. These votes are then used to compute a percentage grade for each legislator.

"Rep. Schwab has consistently worked on behalf of employers by adopting a pro-jobs and pro-growth agenda in Jefferson City," said Chris Long, president of AIM. "Rep. Schwab's efforts are directly helping businesses in his district through the creation of new and better jobs."

Associated Industries of Missouri is a business and industrial association which represents its membership before the Missouri legislature, state regulatory agencies and the court and the public. The AIM website is www.aimo.com.
