The Central Junior High School scholastic team has won first place in the Questions Unlimited Electronic Scholastic Tournament.

In addition to placing first in the state, the team also won third-place honors in the central division and 11th in the nation.

Team members are Anjuli Dahiya, Caroline Eom, Casey Ferden, Sam Fletcher, Matt Hawkins, Cecilia Kuntz, Terri Lilly, Julie McGowen, Brandon Ruth, Amanda Stoecker, Ryan Stott, Susan Tansil, Marisa Uzoaru and Dongyang Zhang; ninth grade. Eighth grade members are Maggie Clark, Lindsey Francis; Sara Little, Matt Komorech, Morgan Maki, Greg Miller, David Raymond, Edward Roeger, Katie Rose and Erin Ross.

The group is sponsored by teacher Dixie Cook.
