St. Louis College of Pharmacy awarded scholarships to students at the fall awards program recently. Three local students were among the recipients.
Meike Newell, a fifth-year student at the college, received the Donald R. Lloyd Scholarship, a $400 award. Newell is the daughter of Mike and Diann Newell of Cape Girardeau and is a 1992 graduate of Central High School.
Sandra Bounds, a fourth-year student at the college, received the Virginia A. Reuter '43 Memorial Scholarship, a $500 award. Bounds is the daughter of Emmett and Harumi Bounds of Cape Girardeau and a 1993 graduate of Central High School.
Donna Lynn, a third-year student at the college, received the Charles R. and Viola Davis Scholarship, a $2,000 award. Lynn is the daughter of Donald and Katherine Lynn of Benton and is a 1994 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School.
