The AAL will award a minimum of 200 non-renewable scholarships worth a total of $200,000. Awards for full-time students are $1,000 and for half-time students, $500.

Recipients will be chosen based on career objectives, leadership, church and community involvement, previous work experience, professional recommendations and academic records. Financial need is not a factor.
