LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- High school students who are interested in applying for $1,000 college scholarships should request applications by March 15 from the Educational Communications Scholarship Foundation.
To receive an application, students should send a note with their name, address, city, state, zip code, approximate grade point average and year of graduation. Requests for applications will be filled on April 15.
Seventy-five winners will be selected on the basis of academic performance, involvement in extracurricular activities and need for financial aid.
