The 24th annual America's National Teen-Ager Scholarship program is accepting applications for the Missouri National Teen-Ager program, the state-level competition to be held in Kansas City at Rockhurst College June 2-3. More than $50,000 in cash and tuition scholarships will be awarded.
Girls, ages 13 to 18, are eligible to participate in either the junior or senior division competition based on scholastic and extracurricular achievements, interview, poise, and personality. Talent and essay competitions are also held in addition to the overall competition.

Junior and senior division state winners from all 50 states and Puerto Rico will participate in the 1995 national finals to be held at Opryland USA in Nashville.
The National Teen-Ager Foundation will award a $10,000 cash scholarship to the senior division winner. In addition, numerous prizes will be awarded. Each state winner will receive a full two-year tuition scholarship to Oklahoma City University in addition to other cash and tuition scholarships provided at each state-level program
Since 1971, the program has awarded more than $90 million in grants, tuition and cash scholarships to deserving teen-agers. This year, more than $5 million in cash and tuition scholarships will be awarded to recognize the achievements of America's outstanding young women.
Miss Missouri Teen Pageant
Applicants are now being accepted for the 1995 Miss Missouri Teen All American Pageant to be staged Jan. 14-15 at the Holiday Inn-Westport, St. Louis.
The 1995 event is the official preliminary to Miss Teen All America, now in it's 17th year and held annually in Florida.
All judging is on the basis of poise, personal interview and beauty of face and figure. Applicants who qualify must be ages 13 through 19 as of Aug. 1, 1995, never married and a resident of the United States.

Among her many prizes, Miss MIssouri Teen All American will receive an expense-paid trip to Florida, where she will compete in the 17th annual Miss Teen All American Pageant. She will compete for a prize package that includes a personal appearance contract, cash, jewelry, luggage and a fur.
In addition, each state winner will be interviewed by representatives from the TV and film industry and modeling agency personnel. Miss Missouri Teen All American will also be awarded a host of prizes including cash, a fur and luggage.

Mrs. Missouri pageant
Plans have been set for the annual Mrs. U.S. International Pageant and the search is on to find a 1995 Mrs. Missouri International. The competition showcases a broad spectrum of achievements and recognizes the virtues of professional, family and community involvement among married women.
Entrants must be 24-55 years old, married at least two years, a citizen of the United States and be a resident of Missouri for at least 6 months.
The pageant features personal interviews for 50 percent of the score; aerobic wear, 25 percent; and the final 25 percent for evening gown. Husbands are a key factor in the Mrs. International system, and one will actually crown his wife the next Mrs. U.S. International for the national pageant, to be held next summer.
Mrs. Missouri International will have the coming year to showcase her accomplishments and commitment to family and marriage throughout the state.
