SCHOLARSHIP IS OFFERED BY BPW

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The River City Business and Professional Women's Club is offering a $500 yearly scholarship, payable at $250 a semester, to women attending Southeast Missouri State University.

Applicants must want further education to re-enter the work force; be over 21 and just beginning or re-entering college; carry nine hours per semester after receiving the scholarship; have and maintain a 2.5 grade-point average after receiving the scholarship; and show financial need.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is Feb. 22. Application forms may be obtained in the financial aid services office at Southeast.

Past scholarship recipients who meet the qualifications may continue to apply for the scholarship.
