Since their professional debut nearly 20 years ago, the Scholars of London have given at least 1,700 concerts in 50 countries and performed in many of the great concert halls.

On March 21, the quartet will perform in Cape Girardeau at 8 p.m. in Academic Auditorium in a concert sponsored by the community Concert Association.

A typical concert program will span more than 500 years, ranging from French chansons to English and Scottish folk songs and from classical pieces to contemporary songs based on American Indians poems.
