The Bollinger County Fair begins this week at the Marble Hill Ball Park, and several events are planned. An incorrect schedule was published in the Banner-Press on Wednesday. This is the correct schedule.

All events held at Marble Hill Ball Park unless otherwise stated.

Thursday is armband night by All American Amusement

Friday, Sept. 30

Noon to 4:30 p.m.: Bollinger County Museum of Natural History open

5 to 9 p.m.: Carnival rides and vendors open

5 p.m.: Great American Medicine Show, fairgrounds

6 p.m.: Working Cow Dog Show, horse arena, sponsored by Patton Junction Auction

6:30 to 7 p.m.: Strong Arm Man Show, center stage

7 p.m.: Rawhide n Dusty Show at the horse arena, sponsored by Crown Chevrolet

7 to 10 p.m.: Bill Hulvey & Side Street Band, center stage

Saturday, Oct. 1

8 a.m.: Vendors open

8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Wicecarver Store open, Massey Log Cabin open

9 a.m.: Bollinger County Footrace, sponsored by Bollinger County Chiropractic

9: a.m.: Parade, grand marshal, Doc John Englehart, judging and awards at Magnolia Park following parade

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Car show, Twin City Park, registration is 9 a.m. to noon; judging at 4 p.m.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Bollinger County Museum of Natural History, free admission Saturday

10:30 to 11 a.m.: Civil War era songs by Woodland High School choir, center stage, fairgrounds. Cannon shoots will be done at 1 and 5 p.m.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Beauty pageant at center stage at fairgrounds, registration at 10 a.m.

11 a.m.: Farm games (fairgrounds), sponsored by Farm Bureau; Great American Medicine Shows (fairgrounds); Wiffle ball tournament at the ball field; Civil War re-enactments (fairgrounds)

11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Chicken & dumplings meal at the senior center nutrition center

Noon to 1:30 p.m.: Kiddie tractor pull, sponsored by People's Community Bank and Bob VanGennip

1 to 10 p.m.: Carnival rides open, armbands available 1 to 5 p.m.

2 p.m.: Greased pig contest at the horse arena, sponsored by Odd Fellows Lodge

2 to 3:30 p.m.: Bollinger County's Got Talent Show, center stage, fairgrounds

3:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Sis Welker & Friends in concert, center stage, fairgrounds

4:30 to 6 p.m.: Mikala & The Davis Family Tradition in concert, center stage, fairgrounds

6 to 8 p.m.: Cabin Fever in concert, center stage, fairgrounds

6 to 6:45 p.m.: Southeast Square Dancers performance on Presnell Street

7 p.m.: Tractor pull presented by Bootheel Pullers

7 to 10 p.m.: Oldies Street Dance featuring The Melroys with special appearance by The Good Vibrations, on Presnell Street, sponsored by Crader Distributing

Sunday, Oct. 2

10 a.m.: Community church service followed by a potluck meal at the fairgrounds
