Schaper's IGA at 528 W. Main St. in Jackson will be providing readers of the Jackson U.S.A. Signal with a sales flier in each week's issue beginning with today's edition.
The circular will be distributed in all of the Cape Girardeau County cities and towns served by the Signal.
Schaper's IGA has been a family-owned and operated business since it was opened by Jackson area native Julius Schaper in 1934. It has been an IGA store since 1936.
The store is now owned by Jackson-based Maevers Management, which operates other IGA supermarkets in Chaffee and Fredericktown and Save-A-Lot stores elsewhere in Southeast Missouri. General manager of the IGA stores is Don Rogers.
Longtime Jackson grocery manager Joe Bollinger says customers will find a full-line supermarket in Schaper's IGA. The store offers a complete range of grocery items as well as a deli department, liquor and fresh meats.
Schaper's IGA is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. everyday.
