SCHAEFER SCOLARSHIPLS PRESENTED AT SHAWNEE

WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- The third annual Christy Lynn Schaefer Memorial Scholarships have been awarded at Shawnee High School.

Four recipients from the 1993 graduating class are Stephanie Morgan Rhodes and Kristi Lynn Hardin, both of Wolf Lake, and Rollie Clay Matlock and Joseph Ryan Boren, both of McClure.

Rhodes will receive a $2,000 award; Hardin, Matlock and Boren will each receive $1,000.

The scholarship is a perpetual award given annually in memory of Christy Lynn Schaefer to a Shawnee graduating senior who exhibits leadership, scholarship and community involvement.
