SAND VOLLEYBALL LEAGUES FORMING; DEADLINE MAY 20

It's not on the beach, but sand volleyball leagues now are being formed to play on sand courts at Arena Park.

The leagues are sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department.

Two leagues will be formed. A four-on-four league begins June 2, and games will be played Tuesday and Thursday evenings. A six-on-six co-ed league begins June 1, with games Monday evenings. At least two females must play on each team.

Entry fees are $90 per team, which includes officials, sand volleyballs and awards. League entry deadline is May 20.
