ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A south St. Louis QuikTrip store is proving lucky for Missouri Lotto players.
For the third time, the store at 8205 Gravois has sold a winning Lotto jackpot ticket, the Missouri Lottery said Monday. The most recent winning ticket sold for the April 9 Lotto drawing matched winning numbers 13, 14, 15, 17, 39 and 42, and is worth $1.3 million.
"This is one lucky location," said Gary Gonder, spokesman for the Missouri Lottery.
The luck isn't just for the winner, who has yet to come forward. The store that sells a winning ticket gets a bonus equal to 1 percent of the jackpot -- in this case, $13,000.
The same QuikTrip sold a winning ticket on June 10, 1995, to Dan and Elizabeth Greenwood of St. Louis, who won $4.4 million to become the Lottery's 100th million-dollar winners.
On Dec. 11, 1996, George and Mary Hendel of St. Louis won $1.6 million with a Lotto ticket purchased at the convenience store.
Missouri Lotto winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. The latest winner has until Oct. 6 to come forward.
