Salvation Army to serve Meals with Friends

The Salvation Army, 701 Good Hope St. in Cape Girardeau, is serving free Meals with Friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone is welcome to a hot, nutritious meal. Monday's menu is glazed turkey, cheese mashed potatoes, corn, fruit, bread and butter; Tuesday, ham and beans, fruit, corn bread and butter; Wednesday, turkey tetrazzini, corn, fruit, garlic bread and butter; Thursday, meatloaf, cabbage, fruit, corn bread and butter; Friday, chicken sandwiches, green beans, chips, fruit. All meals include cake or pie for dessert.
