Two warming centers will be open in Cape Girardeau over the next several days while extreme cold temperatures blanket the area. The Salvation Army, 701 Good Hope St., and the Osage Community Centre, 1625 N. Kingshighway, will be operating as warming centers during their normal hours. The Osage center will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. The Salvation Army facility will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday hours will be determined as the need arises.
