The Salvation Army needs more food to feed the 600 people expected to be served a free Thanksgiving dinner Thursday from noon to 2:30.Donations of hams, brown and serve rolls, pies, instant mashed potatoes and Cool Whip are needed, said to Maj. Robert Gauthier.Pies are perhaps the most urgent need. "We have no pies," hesaid. Food donations can be dropped off at the Salvation Army, 701 Good Hope, anytime today. Sixty turkeys have been cooked for the occasion. Gauthier's wife, Maj. Joyce Gauthier, spent Tuesday afternoon carving them. A person donated the turkeys for the meal.
