SALVATION ARMY HOSTS MEALS

The Salvation Army, 701 Good Hope, will be serving Meals With Friends, from Monday through Friday. Serving time is from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Any individual is welcome to come and enjoy a hot, nutritious meal in a cool, friendly atmosphere at no cost whatsoever.

The menu includes:

Monday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, green beans, bread.

Tuesday: Barbecue pork on buns, macaroni salad, sliced cucumbers, cake.

Wednesday: Roast turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, corn, sliced peaches, bread.

Thursday: Tuna noodle, sliced tomatoes, peas and carrots, fruit jello, and bread.

Friday: Chili dogs, mixed vegetables, jello salad, and cupcakes.

The Salvation Army is also looking for donations of fresh produce to be used in their meals program. Items can be brought to 701 Good Hope or call the office for a pick up. The number is 335-7000.
