The school board also decided to transfer $350,000 from the general fund to the capital projects funds.

"This is a one time deal that the government is allowing the schools to make transfers of money for future projects," said Keith Robertson, school superintendent. "The money that we place in the funds don't have to be used in a certain amount of time and this would enable us to have funds for future projects or in time of need."
