~Correction: Rush Limbaugh III did not speak at Central's commencment ceremony in 1981; Rush Limbaugh Jr., his father, was speaker that year.
Nationally syndicated radio talk-show personality Rush Limbaugh III will deliver the commencement speech at Cape Girardeau Central High School's May 31 commencement.
The ceremony will begin at 8 p.m. at the Show Me Center. Tickets aren't needed.
This is the fourth time Limbaugh, a native of Cape Girardeau, has been a commencement speaker at Central, his alma mater. He spoke in 1981, 1989 and 1992.
A committee of senior class officers, parents, the class sponsor and the high school principal decided who will be asked to speak at the ceremony.
