Rural Scott City man facing rape, sodomy charges

A rural Scott City man is accused of sexually related offenses. Chad E. Dixon, 35, is charged with 15 counts of second-degree statutory rape, five counts of second-degree statutory sodomy and five counts of incest. According to Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter, the investigation is underway and additional charges may be filed. Walter said the victim reported the alleged incidents Monday morning. The victim said the incidents occurred over the past four years, with the most recent within the past week. Dixon was arrested Thursday and is in the Scott County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
