PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Police said Thursday there are no new leads in the whereabouts of two Perryville children who reportedly ran away from home Tuesday.
Perry County Sheriff Gary Schaaf said other than the reported siting of Brandon Lundmark, 14, at the Flying J truck stop in New Madrid, Mo., Wednesday morning, there have been no other sitings reported.
Lundmark was reportedly caught on a video surveillance recording at the truck stop wearing a dark sweat shirt with white lettering across the front, Schaaf said.
Lundmark reportedly took his father's pickup truck, cash and an ATM card about midnight Monday and then left the area after picking up his 12-year-old girlfriend, Brianna Williams, also of Perryville.
Schaaf said Thursday Lundmark's father, Jerod Lundmark, said he kept a handgun under the seat of the truck and his son knows it is there.
Lundmark is 5-foot, 9-inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Williams is 5-foot, 4-inches, 130 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.
Police are asking anyone who sees a 2002 Z-71 Chevrolet pickup truck with a Missouri license 702-RG6 to call their local law enforcement agency.
