SIKESTON, Mo. -- Work to make minor repairs to the deck of the Route ZZ Drainage Ditch No. 2 bridge in Scott County will begin Tuesday. Weather permitting, work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily for two to three weeks. The bridge will be reduced to one lane while work is underway. Signage will guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling through the area. This bridge was completed in September as part of the design-build portion of the Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program.
