Route EE to be closed for railroad repairs

Union Pacific crews will make railroad crossing repairs on Route EE in Cape Girardeau County from 7 a.m. today to 5 p.m. Friday if the weather permits construction.

The crossing is located between Highway 25 at Delta and Highway 77 at Chaffee. The crossing will be closed to traffic. Drivers will need to take alternate routes while the repairs are being made and are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
