Route A in New Madrid, Stoddard counties reduced for pavement repairs

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Route A in New Madrid and Stoddard counties will be reduced to one lane today as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of road is from Highway 153 in Stoddard County to Route E in New Madrid County. Weather permitting, the work will be performed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
