ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The first day of school in St. Louis includes problems with school buses -- an accident in one case, stranded students in another.
The wreck on Monday morning happened as a bus carrying children to Shaw Elementary School collided with an SUV. No serious injuries were reported but three children were evaluated at a hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Meanwhile, the district confirms that bus drivers failed to pick up hundreds of children. Officials weren't sure if a computer error was to blame or if letters weren't sent to parents informing them of the correct bus stops.
