Members of area Rotary Clubs are sponsoring the annual Camp Enterprise summit for high school junior and seniors Friday at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center.
Students will gain business experience in making business decisions assisted by area business leaders who work with teams of 10.
Friday's summit includes 85 students from 14 area schools making decisions in areas that include research and development, marketing and advertising.
They will be ranked in profitability as the day progresses, with some going bankrupt and others being highly successful.
Scheduled speakers are Dex Tuttle, assistant director of Campus Life at Southeast, and Odie Lingle of the Jackson Rotary Club.
The day will conclude with $500 scholarships awarded to several attending students. Student participants are referred by school counselors to the Camp Enterprise program.
