ROOKIE BABYSITTERS COURSE SLATED OCT. 21
JACKSON -- A four-hour course at the St. Francis Information Center in Jackson will help give first-time babysitters the know-how they need before accepting their first sitting job. The Guide for the First-Time Babysitter course will be offered in two two-hour segments. The first segment will be held Oct. 21 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The second half of the course is scheduled for the following Wednesday, Oct. 28, again from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A $5 registration fee includes all course materials...

Kathy Casteel, a registered nurse, will teach the class, which includes safety, emergencies, feeding, diapering, bathing and bedtime routines.
